About Me

My love for sport and fitness started when I was young through running, hockey, squash, sailing and horse-riding.  I currently compete in show-jumping and eventing.
I trained with the prestigious Bodycontrolpilates organisation qualifying as an Instructor in 2009.  Ongoing professional development is an important part of my work.  I was one of the first people in the UK to complete the Level 4 REPS (Register of Exercise Professionals) accredited Low Back Pain Course with BodyControlpilates leading to qualification as a Back Pain Specialist and membership of BackCare.  This enables me to undertake medical referrals and work in conjunction with the Care Team.
I have further undertaken specialist training in foot and ankle biomechanics, hip functionality and form, neck and shoulder function and performance pilates.  These courses are aimed particularly at considering joint and movement strategies specific to the individual to restore, maintain or enhance function.  Further training in Pilates for Bone Health enables me to work with those diagnosed with Osteoporosis and Osteopaenia to find a safe form of exercise to maintain muscle strength and movement.
I trained with Joe Hippensteel, the CEO of Ultimate Human Performance in his advanced techniques aimed at regaining full range of movement and increasing flexibility.  These techniques enable me to treat a wide range of conditions and injuries including joint pain (back, shoulder, hip, knee, ankle): arthritis, bursitis, tendonitis and migraines.
Through working with a diverse group of clients, I know that everybody is unique, each with their own goals and lifestyle. I will construct a plan and training schedule according to your fitness experience and needs that will have you seeing results in no time.
